News and Events!
I am so grateful to have been selected for the Festival at the Arts at the Herberger Theater in Phoenix on Oct. 1st as well as for a show at ASU Gammage for next season! Below is a list of many of the events that you can catch me at. I will be adding some more next month. I am painting like crazy and loving the fact that the heat will soon subside! Hi Everyone! Here's the latest in colorful paintings! Tonight will be my last outdoor Art Show until the fall. Summer in Phoenix is just way to grueling to be outdoors selling art. That doesn't mean I won't be painting! I'll be hitting the canvas hard this summer!

Here is another abstract with many layers. Several of the houses have a raised texture where I used modeling paste as well as the moon glow area.
The rest of the painting is quite loose for me! I put a heavy Gloss Gel over the entire piece to add shine and even more texture.

I am teaching a class right now on abstracts and I combined my love of brilliant colors with my graphic design background of clean edges! This is painted with acrylics and the canvas in 2.75 inches deep with the designs wrapped on the sides.
I wanted it to have a fabric look. I love all the fabrics that IKEA offers and I was trying to achieve a textile look.
